Quality Improvement

In 2014 the Holmes County General Health District (HCGHD) established a Quality Improvement Council (QIC) to oversee the selection of QI projects and to build QI throughout the agency.  QI is a process that is used to assure that the HCGHD is creating measurable goals across all of its programs and services in order to find more effective and meaningful ways of providing services.

The Quality Improvement Council meets quarterly and is comprised of HCGHD staff across all levels and divisions. The group selects 2 QI projects per year based on results from customer feedback surveys, employee satisfaction surveys, data from the Community Health Assessment and the Community Health Improvement Plan and after action reports.
