Changing Tables for Small Businesses and Non-Profits

Changing Tables for Small Businesses and Non-Profits

The Holmes County General Health District is partnering with Pampers and Procter & Gamble to bring baby changing tables to the Men’s restrooms in small business and nonprofits.

Why are changing tables in Men’s room so important? 9 out of 10 dads have gone into a public restroom with no changing tables and a need to change their child’s diaper.  Donte Palmer was one of these dads and in 2018 he tweeted a picture of himself changing his son’s diaper across his lap while squatting against the wall in the men’s room.  The tweet went viral and other dads began posting similar pictures with the #SquatForChange.  Since then, Pampers has pledged to install 5,000 changing tables in men’s restrooms by the end of the 2021 year.

The only qualifiers are that the request be made by a nonprofit or small business (not a large chain) and be installed in Men’s or unisex/family style restrooms.
