Tobacco Prevention, Intervention and Cessation

Through the Tobacco-Free Coalition of Northern Appalachia, the Health District provides prevention, intervention, and cessation services.

Services include Freedom From Smoking(r) group support and individual counseling along with free nicotine replacement (patches and lozenges) for adults wanting to quit using tobacco. Tobacco treatment specialists are also available to provide prevention services to schools, businesses, and organizations.
