Tobacco Prevention, Intervention and Cessation

Through the Tobacco-Free Coalition of northern Appalachia, the Health District provides services to prevent youth tobacco usage, to intervene with youth currently using tobacco products, and to assist youth and adults wanting to quit.  Services include STAMP (Stay Tobacco-Free Athlete Mentor Program), an intervention/alternative-to-suspension program, and individual and group cessation counseling, as well as referrals to partnering agencies providing cessation services.
